Snippets of my super quick Weekend

And so, our weekend came and went so quickly. I feel like I need another one already. To think it's only Tuesday! This week, I started working on Saturday mornings and only get off work at 1.30, so by then half the day is gone. We really didn't do much this weekend, other than just sleeping in on Sunday, making breakfast, lunch and dinner at home. Going to the market and stuff. Usual weekend things. One moment it's here and the next it's over. Ah well, it's alright. Minus today, it's just 3 more days to the next weekend right? In trying to see the fun side of things, Darren has funny names for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Wednesday's 'Hump' day because it's right in the middle of the week. Thursday's 'Oohlala' day because the next day's Friday. And Friday's 'The weekend is here!' day.

I like being positive this way.

  5. Those tomatoes look so yummy, as does the seafood platter!

Thursday is "oohlala" days for me too because I get paid on Fridays ;) I work Tuesday - Saturday so by the time it's Friday it feels like it's the weekend. The only downside is that I don't get to go to the Saturday morning farmers market.

Janet, the little elephant is named Francis. You can read more about him here: http://teddybearswednesday.blogspot.com/2010/10/gordon-has-friend.html

Beckie: Yes! We need more oohlala's each week. haha. Today's only Tuesday! Looking forward to Thursday where I can loudly 'proclaim' it's 'Oohlala day!'

Oh and to the Anonymous person who left a comment that leads to a youtube video on cruelty of poultry farms.. Whoever you are, do not worry. My eggs are free range eggs laid by cage-free happy hens : )
