I spent the afternoon making some crushed paper fruits and preparing for my classes. See that book there? It's such a cute book and I am going to read it to the little kids before we make those funky fruits. I've been experimenting with fun crafty projects for my kids classes at Harvest and this fruity project is just one of it. Looking at it now, I think all it needs is a little basket so all the fruits can sit in it nicely. What do you think?
Apart from fruit making, I had a nice afternoon nap and watched a really trashy movie too. I shall not embarrass myself by telling you what movie it is. Haha. let's just say it's one of those romantic comedies!

ReplyDeleteAwesome!I work with kids too and I was just saying to a friend yesterday that I remember making marzipan fruits when I was a kid and painting them up with food colouring. Might be a fun extension activity?
