Tada! I think these pictures speak for themselves don't they? So I ran a giant ice cream workshop at ArtPlay yesterday and today. We made big ice cream cones out of cardboards. Each kid and their parent worked as a team to create a parent and kiddo 2 flavour ice cream cone. We decorated our scoops with foil, paper, sequins, glitter, sticks and a whole lot more. It was crazy but it was so so much fun.

I am so glad the kids, mums and dads all enjoyed themselves. I had parents coming up after the workshops saying how much they enjoyed painting together with their child. I had some kids asking if they could do another one. Seriously, it just made me smile. It makes me think how teaching is SO worthwhile. And that I really do love my job. I wish I could do this all day long!

I am so happy they liked what they did and most importantly, there was a whole lot of fun and laughter going on! I think there were lots of hungry tummies during class and most of us ended up getting real ice creams after the workshop. Hehehe.

So, one big holiday workshop down. Another one next week! I'm running a 'Make your own animal tote bag' class for kids ages 5 to 8. A 'Toddler discovery/Giant self portrait class' for kids ages 3 to 5. And of course an adult watercolour class in the evening too! All happening on Thursday 14th July. That's just next week! There are still some spots left in all the classes. But not many! Especially the adult class. Just 5 more spots left! : )

PS: Thank you so much Alex, Steph, Bobby, Ella and the whole ArtPlay team for this whole amazing experience. I am super glad and thankful for it all. And thank you So much too Ella, who was my super wonderful assistant and the photographer for all the above pictures... Thank you!
